Focus on writing craft for a full day in a beautiful location.

Saturday, November 4, 2017 - 9:00 am – 4:30 pm, Bedminster, NJ

Cedar Ridge Farm - A bucolic central NJ setting amid 
rolling hills, gardens, peaceful fields.

Fee for full day:  $130.  Limited to 12 writers.
Includes: Seminar/discussion; directed & free writing time/prompts/exercises; peer/faculty feedback; handouts; healthy lunch, coffee/tea, snacks; scenic walk (weather permitting). Plus, literary door prizes!

Lisa Romeo is the author of Starting with Goodbye: A Daughter's Memoir of Love After Loss, (University of Nevada Press, May 2018). Her nonfiction is listed in Notables in Best American Essays 2016, and has appeared in Under the Sun, Brevity, Hippocampus, Front Porch, New York Times, O The Oprah Magazine, Inside Jersey, and many other places. Lisa teaches in Bay Path University's MFA program, and holds an MFA from the Stonecoast Program. She is CNF editor of Compose Journal.

Ryder Ziebarth, founder of the Cedar Ridge Writers Series, received an MFA in 2016 in creative nonfiction from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She’s been published in N Magazine, New York Times, Punctuate, The Brevity Blog, Tiferet Journal, Assay Journal, writes for the Proximity Blog, and is a committee member with the Nantucket Book Festival. Ryder is the fourth generation to live at the 18th century Cedar Ridge Farm, the subject of her memoir-in-progress.
